• Glory tryouts are Saturday morning March 27th
• Registration for Freshman tryouts begin at 8:30 am
• Registration for Sophomore tryouts will begin at 8:30 am
• Registration for Junior tryouts will begin at 10:00am

Tryouts will be conducted in a professional manner. The tryout may include skills work (ball handling, passing, footwork, and rebounding drills), and 3 on 3, 4 on 4 scrimmaging. Referees will be present for the scrimmage sessions. The seven member selection committee will be forming teams emphasizing talent, basketball court sense, and unselfishness.

From the many outstanding athletes coming to tryouts, Glory will form sophomore and junior teams. Each team will play a 5 tournament Minnesota state schedule ending with AAU Championships. Our sophomore and junior teams play in national tournaments in NE, SD, IN, KY, & Fla.

Tryout fee is nonrefundable. Local season fee covers all coaching, gym time, 5 MN tournaments, and moisture-absorbent uniforms, etc. National tournament costs are in addition to the local tournament costs.

A parent or guardian needs to sign the registration forms. Registration begins 30 minutes before each hourly tryout time. Parents or players should be prepared to write two checks: one for Glory, and one for the AAU's insurance fee. A portion of the local season fee will be required to hold your slot if you make a team. Players should bring a reversible black/white jersey, or a white and black or blue jersey/tee shirt to wear during tryouts.

The 10 players selected for each team will be posted 30 minutes after tryouts are completed. Team practices are up to each coach, but may be twice per week. Glory Elite (17U) practices are once per week while school is in session. After school is out there will be all-day practices in preparation for each National Tournament.

Elite players who reside outside the metro area are encouraged to attend tryouts. We strongly encourage players from long distances outside the metro area to participate in the MN Glory program.
